Community Service

Our students devote several weekends each semester to days of service at local non-profits. These include volunteer days with Hope Gardens, Youth Rebuilding New Orleans, Grow Dat Youth Farm, and the LASPCA.

At Tulane Hillel, we believe in the power of service to transform lives and communities. Our community service initiatives provide meaningful opportunities for students to make a positive impact, contribute to the greater good, and empower students to be agents of change.

Through our partnerships with local New Orleans organizations and nonprofits, we connect students with meaningful service opportunities that align with their interests and values. Whether it’s environmental initiatives, assisting at food banks, or cleaning kennels at the dog shelter, there’s a place for everyone to contribute their unique skills and passions.

At Tulane Hillel, we believe in the transformative power of community. Through service, we foster a sense of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility, while building lasting relationships with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to tikkun olam, repairing the world.
